Laurel Highlands Farms is a family operation raising Scottish Highland and Black Angus beef and Polypay lamb on rotationally grazed pasture in Pennsylvania's Allegheny Highlands. Instead of buying beef of unknown origin at the grocery store, Pennsylvania households can order it directly from the people who raised it — as individual cuts, as curated specialty boxes, or as a quarter, half or whole beef for the freezer.
Every animal moves through the same planned rotational grazing system — grazed hard, then moved on so the pasture rests and recovers — with no added hormones and no pasture pesticides. You choose 100% grass-finished for a forage-only finish, or grain-finished for more marbling and a traditional beef profile.

Can I buy beef in bulk for the freezer?
Yes. Reserve a quarter, half or whole beef with a deposit and choose your cutting preferences. A quarter is roughly 85–100 lb of packaged beef; a half is roughly 170–200 lb.
