Fulfillment & Delivery
Product availability follows the realities of a working livestock farm. At checkout you submit the items you want and your contact and destination information. No payment is charged at that point.
Laurel Highlands Farms confirms availability, the appropriate pickup, delivery or shipping method, timing, and any applicable fulfillment cost before the order is finalized. We do not publish a flat shipping charge because the current site does not yet contain verified farm shipping-rate rules.
If fulfillment terms do not work for you, the order can remain unfinalized because no payment was collected through the website.
In practice, fulfillment for a small livestock farm usually means one of a few paths: on-farm pickup, local delivery within a reasonable drive of the farm, or shipping frozen product with insulated packaging and ice packs for longer distances. Which path applies to your order depends on your location and what you ordered, and it will be confirmed with you directly rather than assumed from the checkout form.
Perishable and frozen products require someone to be available to receive them promptly, whether that is picking up at an arranged time or being home for a delivery, so the product stays at a safe temperature. If timing is tight, mention it when the farm reaches out to confirm your order.
Fulfillment cost, when one applies, depends on distance, order size and the method used — there is no single flat rate that fairly covers both a local pickup and a long-distance shipment of frozen beef packed in insulated coolers. That cost, along with the timing, will always be confirmed with you before the order is finalized, so you know exactly what you are agreeing to before anything is charged.
